We’ve broken down our long-form improv training into eight essential modules that change each week. Miss a week? Yes, and you can just keep coming and we’ll cover it again in two months. We provide a safe, fun atmosphere to learn the essential components of putting on a long-form improv show with a mix of new and experienced students. Your first class is free!

About Your Instructor

Marc Lefton

A former student and marketer of House Improv Marc took over the school in 2022 after the departure from Gainesville of founders Jon Branch and Austin Scott.

He has over 7 years of improv training, and has studied at Theatre Strike Force, House Improv, Second City and The World’s Greatest Improv School. He has also studied Sketch Comedy at The Improv Trick in LA with Bill Chott (The Dana Carvey Show, Saturday Night Live) and Eric Von Hoffman (Mr. Show with Bob & David).

Before moving to Gainesville, he spend 20+ years working as a creative director at the highest levels of the NYC advertising industry, winning multiple creative awards. Highly involved in the local community is also the President of Alachua County Emerging Leaders, and serves on the Alachua County Economic Development Advisory Board.
